Fleet Command Player Summit
For this project, we partnered with Scopely to produce a series of player and developer interviews for Star Trek Fleet Command at the company's corporate offices in Ireland. The interviews took place alongside a summit bringing members of the game's player community together with the development team, making it important that our production operate without disrupting the larger event.
Rather than transporting an entire production team internationally, we sourced crew locally and built a small, efficient unit around the needs of the project. This approach reduced the logistical footprint of the production while allowing the summit itself to remain the priority.
Visual continuity was another important consideration. Although the production took place in Ireland with locally sourced crew, the finished interviews needed to feel consistent with previous Star Trek Fleet Command content featuring players and developers. Camera placement, lighting, composition, sound, and the overall tone of the interviews were approached with that existing body of work in mind.
Maintaining that consistency allows content produced in different cities, countries, and facilities to coexist naturally within the same campaign. Audiences should be able to move between interviews without being distracted by where or how individual pieces were produced.
Production stills were shot on a Canon AE-1 using Ilford Delta 3200 film.
